DESCRIPTION:Alpha Pi Rho is the MCC chapter of Phi Theta Kappa\, the national honor society for two-year colleges. It recognizes scholarship\, leadership\, and service. Students who have a 3.5 or higher GPA are invited to join and participate in APR after completing 12 or more credits successfully at MCC. \nMCC Honors Induction Ceremony will be held on Thursday\, April 9th at 6pm in the MPR. MCC students in both Phi Theta Kappa\, and Kappa Beta Delta (Business Honor Society) will be inducted that evening. We invite all faculty and staff to attend. DESCRIPTION:This information session is in-person on the MCC campus during the open house. \nInformation regarding pre-reqs\, the admissions process\, the entrance exam\, academic requirements (nursing and general education)\, and competitive ranking is covered in detail during the session. Participants will receive the necessary paperwork to apply for admission and will have the opportunity to ask questions. A follow up individual appointment may be scheduled if necessary. \n\nThere is no fee to attend and registration is not required.\nThe LPN to RN program is an advanced placement program for currently licensed LPNs only.\nMCC does not offer an LPN program.

DESCRIPTION:This information session is in-person on the MCC campus during the open house. \nInformation regarding pre-reqs\, the admissions process\, the entrance exam\, academic requirements (nursing and general education)\, and competitive ranking is covered in detail during the session. Participants will receive the necessary paperwork to apply for admission and will have the opportunity to ask questions. A follow up individual appointment may be scheduled if necessary. \n\nThere is no fee to attend and registration is not required.\nThe information session starts promptly at the posted time.\nPlease be a few minutes early as late arrivals will not be accommodated.\n\nStudents may complete the RN program on a part time basis\, however\, nursing and clinical components must be completed concurrently. Students graduate with an Associate degree of Science in Nursing and are eligible to take the RN state board exam. Students may continue on to a Bachelor of Science in Nursing at various four-year nursing programs.

This event is open to the entire MCC Community as well as the general public in an effort to spread the word about Human Services as both a discipline of study and a career opportunity. \nThe New Hampshire Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS) and area Human Services agencies will participate in a speed-dating activity where attendees will go from table to table to learn about diverse types of work available in the field. They will engage in brief discussions and answer questions about their area of expertise. DHHS is one of the largest employers in the State of NH and they hire from all disciplines from HVAC to Electrical Technicians\, from Marketing to Nursing.
