DESCRIPTION:Student Senate announces that the 26th Annual Spotlight on Leadership will be held on Friday May 1st at 6 PM at the Derryfield Event Center. All MCC students who were involved in MCC Clubs and Organizations this academic year are invited via their club\, along with their club advisors\, This special end-of-the year event celebrates student leadership and involvement. Each club provides a year-end highlight and selects an MVP and Rising Star. Each year Club Awards are presented to the Club of the Year\, Rising Star Club of the Year and Humanitarian Club of the Year. Their club’s name will be added to the plaques outside of the Student Center. Any faculty or staff member who is not a club advisor\, but interested in attending\, please connect with Aileen at aclay@ccsnh.edu. All are welcome to join us\, but we will request $25 toward the cost of the meal.

DESCRIPTION:This information session is online over Zoom. \nInformation regarding pre-reqs\, the admissions process\, the entrance exam\, academic requirements (nursing and general education)\, and competitive ranking is covered in detail during the session. Participants will receive the necessary paperwork to apply for admission and will have the opportunity to ask questions. A follow up individual appointment may be scheduled if necessary. \n\nThere is no fee to attend and registration is not required.\nThe information session starts promptly at the posted time.\nPlease be a few minutes early as late arrivals will not be accommodated.\n\nStudents may complete the RN program on a part time basis\, however\, nursing and clinical components must be completed concurrently. Students graduate with an Associate degree of Science in Nursing and are eligible to take the RN state board exam. This year’s Event will be held at 6 PM on Tuesday\, May 12th\, at the Derryfield Restaurant located at 625 Mammoth Road in Manchester\, NH. \n·     This is an invitation-only event – invites with an RSVP link will be sent out the week of April 14th \n·     It is a business casual event with a sit-down\, catered dinner and cash bar. \n·     The presenter of the award to the nominee may attend for free. \n·     The presenter will be called to the podium to say a few words about the nominee. \n·     The nominee will be presented with their award(s) and photos will be taken. \n·     Any faculty of a department that has a nominee may attend\, even if they are not a presenter\, for the fee of $25/person. Students graduate with an Associate degree of Science in Nursing and are eligible to take the RN state board exam.
