Americana 250th Exhibition
Celebrate United States’ 250th anniversary of the Revolutionary War and the Declaration of Independence on Thursday, June 11 from 10 AM – 4 PM at Manchester Community College.
The Americana 250 Exhibition brings colonial history to life through the humanities, arts, and sciences, highlighting the Revolutionary War, colonial life, and their lasting impact on modern America.
Enjoy 18th-century games, crafts, music and dance, historical presentations, a Founding Documents knock-out tournament, and a colonial clothing try-on photobooth. The event will also feature performances of My Dearest Friend, a historical play about the lives and correspondence of John and Abigail Adams.
This free event is funded by the New Hampshire Humanities Collaborative and Manchester Community College’s Department of Social/Behavioral Sciences and Human Services, and is open to the public.
