Join us for the 4th Annual Archaeology & Anthropology Expo!
The Social Science program will host the 4th annual “Sifting Through Time: Archaeology & Anthropology Expo.” on Tuesday, April 2nd from 11am to 2pm in the MPR.
Professional anthropologists, archaeologists, and current MCC students will be holding table presentations and interactive activities. The New Hampshire Archeological Society will demonstrate flintknapping and atlatl throwing (weather dependent). We will also be exhibiting Exploring Human Origins: What Does It Mean To Be Human?, a walkthrough poster exhibit organized by the Smithsonian Institution Do-It-Yourself Exhibition in collaboration with the Museum. This event is free to the public and would be a great opportunity for students and others to learn more about anthropology and archaeology.
